Dr Ajogwu kick starts porthole repairs at ỤZỌ uwani.
Enugu known medical Doctor and Philanthropist, Dr George Ajogwu has began the repairs of some portholes seen along Ugbene Ajima-Nimbo Road in Ụzo Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State.
Speaking with newsmen, Doctor Ajogwu, who is a renowned supporter and adopted son of Ex-Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi stated that, it is also another way of helping the Government to reduce the sufferings of the people.
He stated that, the portholes became necessary to fill because, criminal elements are beginning to capitalise on the speed break that it causes, to exploit and kidnap people.
He posited that, as a true son of his people, he decided to assist in his own little way, to ensure that the problem is solved and illicit activities happening around that area are curbed.
According to him ” I am very glad that I was able to kick start this project for my people “
“I have always wanted the best for them and this is also my own little way of giving back to the people whom God used to bring me to the world “
” The road has become a dwelling place for criminal elements, who capitalise on the speed break that it brings, to unleash mayhem on my people”
“With this, such things won’t happen again because, cars, tricycles, motorcycles amognst other travelling machines, won’t be stopping again or reducing their speed”
Dr Ajogwu also thanked the immidiate past Governor of Enugu State, Rt Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for giving him the opportunity to be a medical Doctor an act he assured, would always be ever green in his heart.
He also urged well to do citizens from Ụzọ Uwani to always render selfless services to their various communities not minding how little as that would help to engender sporadic growth and development.
The medical Doctor also assured that his free Surgery programmes will continue as it is his other way of being grateful to God for using ex Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi to make him useful for the society.
“I wish to use this opportunity to beg all the sons and daughters of Uzo uwani on the need to prioritise individual Community based projects; not minding the size”. This would help in reducing the sufferings of our people. “
” When we embark on such things no matter how little, a lot of problems would be solved and our people would begin to appreciate God for us “
” I am ever grateful to his Excellency Rt Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for allowing God to use him to help in making me a medical Doctor. ” Without his impacts in my life, I would have dropped out of the medical school.”
“I want to assure our people that I will continue to do my free medical surgery programmes in my own capacity while also ready to partner with communities and individuals across the state to help in saving the lives of the people; because, giving back to the society, gives me joy “
