Drake Dismisses Claim That Rap Music is not Dead

Canadian rapper Drake has responded to the notion that rap music is “dead,” stating that it will never die.

During a conversation with American streamer Adin Ross, Drake rebuffed Ross’s claim, saying “It’ll never die. It was a weird NBA season. New season starts in 5 days.”

This comes after Nigerian singer Wizkid sparked controversy by claiming that “rap is dead” in an interview, which was met with backlash from several rappers.
