€130M Temptation: Isak Opens Transfer Talks with Al-Hilal Amid Liverpool Interest

Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak is reportedly in discussions with Saudi Pro League giants Al-Hilal over a sensational €130 million move, according to French outlet L’Équipe.

Despite strong interest from Liverpool who once considered a £120 million swoop Isak appears open to talks with the Saudi side, who are desperate to bolster their frontline for the 2025/26 campaign.

Al-Hilal are said to have reached out to the 25-year-old Swede’s representatives, but luring him away from European football at the peak of his career remains a tough sell.

Liverpool, meanwhile, have shifted their focus to Eintracht Frankfurt’s Hugo Ekitike after Newcastle publicly declared Isak “not for sale.” Yet speculation has reignited following confirmation from the player’s agent that “all offers are on the table.”

Isak was instrumental for Newcastle last season, netting 23 Premier League goals—second only to Mohamed Salah and leading the Magpies to Carabao Cup glory. However, he missed the club’s recent pre-season clash against Celtic, reportedly due to ongoing transfer distractions.

With Newcastle set to face Arsenal in a Singapore friendly this weekend, the next chapter in Isak’s future could unfold in the coming days.
