Edo PDP reveals a team of more than 200 members in Guber poll.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State has announced the formation of a campaign council ahead of the governorship election on September 21.

The council will consist of over 200 members, including an advisory council led by Governor Godwin Obaseki, and a campaign council made up of prominent party members.

The women’s wing will be headed by the First Lady, Mrs Betsy Obaseki, and Mrs Ifeyinwa Ighodalo, while the youth wing will be led by Timothy Osadolor, the Deputy National Youth Leader.


The members of the council have been carefully selected to support the PDP’s candidate, Dr. Asue Ighodalo.

“The advisory council has 7 eminent members of the state, with His Excellency, the governor, as chairman.


“The State Campaign Council is made up of 200 eminent members of our Party; the women wing to be led by Her Excellency, the first lady of the Edo State, Mrs Betsy Obaseki with the wife of the PDP candidate, Mrs. Ifeyinwa Ighodalo, and the youth wing to be led by the Deputy National Youth Leader, Timothy Osadolor”.
