EEDC To Embark on Revenue Drive This Weekend


The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company PLC (EEDC) said, it will embark on a massive revenue drive on July 29 and 30.

According to reports gathered by our correspondents, the EEDC made this known to it’s customers on Friday, through a statement signed by the Head of Corporate Communications, Mr Emeka Ezeh.

He stated that, the revenue drive would be championed by it’s staff in all the neighborhood across the South East of Nigeria ;with an aim of ensuring that their customers are up-to-date with their necessary payments.

Part of the statement reads ” The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company PLC (EEDC) wishes to inform her esteemed customers of its plan to embark on revenue drive across its district offices in the South East, this Saturday, 29th and Sunday 30th of July, 2023″

“As a result of this development, our customers will be seeing staff of EEDC in their neighbourhood this weekend (Saturday and Sunday), carrying out disconnection of customers that are yet to pay their energy bills.”


He also posited that, the company is begging all her customers who are yet to pay both their current and outstanding bills, to do so as they could be disconnecting the electricity of the defaulters.

He also told her customers that, the payments can be made through various channels such as quickteller, Bank Apps, Online payments use of cash in their office, direct payment through their website amongst others.

“EEDC therefore appeal to her esteemed customers to ensure that their current and outstanding bills are paid to avoid being disconnected.

Payments can be made at our Cash Offices, or alternatively through “Energy Pay” (by logging onto: www.enugudisco.com), Collection Agents, Bank Apps, QuickTeller, and other online payment channels.”

” EEDC can only improve its operations and deliver efficient services when customers promptly pay their bills.”
