Enugu North Chairman Appoints Three New Special Advisers

The Chairman of Enugu North Local Government Area, Dr. Ibenaku Harford Onoh, has appointed five new Special Advisers to support his government.

Speaking with the council press, Dr. Onoh, who swore in the new appointees on Friday at the council headquarters, said they were chosen to help improve leadership and make sure the people of Enugu North get better services in line with the blueprint of Governor Peter Ndubisi Mbah’s administration.

He stated that their roles would help with political matters, special tasks, and checking that government activities are going the right way, which will enhance efficiency in service delivery.

Dr. Onoh also stated that his goal is to make his team stronger and more focused on the needs of the people, adding that these appointments will help make the local government more active and ready to respond to important issues.

The council’s new appointees include  Hon. Okechukwu Franklin Ezeike, who got sworn in as Special Adviser on Political Matters, Hon. Abuchi S. Ugwu, as Special Adviser on Monitoring and Compliance; and Hon. Ifeanyi Hyacinth Onoh as Special Adviser on Special Duties.

Addressing the press on behalf of the newly appointed, Hon. Ezeike thanked Dr. Onoh for the opportunity he presented to them to work in his administration. He stated that since he assumed office, he has distinguished himself as a leader that is project- and people-oriented, owing to the outstanding achievements of his administration in the areas of security, healthcare, infrastructure, education, and human capital development. Hon. Ezeike assured that they will work hard for the good people across the 13 political wards of the local government.
