Etinosa Idemudia Condemns Forced Marriages Amid Regina Daniels’ Saga

Nollywood actress Etinosa Idemudia has condemned men who compel their wives to return home after marital disputes, calling the act “foolish” and “oppressive.”

Her remarks, shared in a recent Instagram post, addressed the ongoing tensions between actress Regina Daniels and her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko. Etinosa stressed that no one should be forced to remain in a marriage against their will, arguing that relationships built on coercion lack peace and mutual respect.

“Some men are very foolish! After using oppression to forcefully bring your wife back to the house, will you be comfortable sleeping there and eating that same woman’s food? Marriage should not be by force,” she wrote.

The controversy follows accusations from Regina Daniels’ family that Senator Nwoko allegedly engaged in assault and harassment, while Nwoko claims his wife displayed violent behavior and struggled with addiction. Etinosa questioned why some men prioritize control over the emotional well-being and safety of their partners.

Beyond marriage, the actress emphasized that “no means no” in all contexts, including sexual consent. She urged that mutual understanding, respect, and consent should form the foundation of every relationship, warning that forcing reconciliation only deepens resentment and emotional harm.
