Ex BBNaija housemate Bambam shares her experience, stating that ‘Sex for roles’ is a hoax in Nollywood.

Bamike Olawunmi, also known as Bambam, a former Big Brother Naija contestant and actress, has expressed her perspective on the prevalent practice of ‘sex for roles’ in the Nigerian film industry, branding it as a deceptive scheme.

She highlighted that filmmakers misleadingly utilize this tactic to take advantage of eager young actresses, only to disappoint them by not fulfilling their promises of prominent roles post engaging in such activities.

Encouraging upcoming actresses, Bambam advised them not to succumb to the lure of ‘sex for roles’, emphasizing its lack of value and the negative implications it carries.

She said:

“Sex for roles is a scam. It’s not worth it. Some of them [victims] what they are paying them at the end of that production is not more than N50,000, N100,000. Don’t be deceived o! It’s a lie. It [sex for role] is a scam.
