Ex-BBNaija Star Vee Shares Strict Dating Rules, Pregnancy Fears at 29
Former Big Brother Naija season five housemate Victoria Adeyele, popularly known as Vee, has opened up about her personal approach to dating, sparking widespread conversation online.
In a video shared on her social media, the 29-year-old explained that her dating philosophy revolves around avoiding situations that could result in pregnancy from the wrong partner.
“It’s my own personal mission,” Vee said. “It may not be your mission, but it’s my mission. I know myself and I try to avoid situations that could harm me emotionally or physically.”
Vee referenced her past relationship with fellow BBNaija contestant Neo Akpofure, which ended in February 2022, explaining that her cautious approach is a form of self-preservation. She stressed that her decisions are not a judgment on others’ choices but a way to protect herself from potential heartbreak or complications.
The reality star acknowledged that her careful approach may make it harder to find love. “I am passionate about not getting hurt. Maybe that’s why finding unapologetic love has been a challenge. I’m stubborn, yes, but I’m not careless,” she said.
She further emphasized the importance of making deliberate choices when selecting a life partner, stating, “Experience is not always the best teacher. I don’t need to go through something to know it won’t work for me.”
Concluding the candid discussion, Vee revealed she sees her dating opportunities as limited. “I just turned 29… I have two more tries left in me. Just two. I need to make those count,” she said, holding up two fingers for emphasis.
Her remarks have resonated with fans and followers, generating discussions on social media about dating, self-awareness, and personal boundaries.
