Ex-Member Accuses Lord’s Chosen Pastor of Manipulation and False Teachings

A former member of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries (TLCCRM) has leveled serious allegations against the church’s founder, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, claiming his teachings mislead followers and foster blind devotion.

In a viral testimony shared online, the woman alleged that doctrines promoted by the church amount to brainwashing, often causing members to sacrifice their well-being in pursuit of supposed miracles.

She recounted a recent encounter with a former colleague from the church’s Crowd Control Department, who brought her one of the group’s trademark yellow jackets. The visitor urged her to sleep with the garment nearby so that the “spirit of the pastor” would appear and restore her faith. She rejected the idea, dismissing the jacket believed by some to be “bulletproof” as nothing more than a gimmick.

The ex-member also recalled a service where Pastor Muoka claimed to have raised a man from the dead after 10 hours. At the time, she said, she celebrated the miracle because she was “brainwashed.” However, she questioned why the same divine power was absent in the deaths of Muoka’s relatives, driver, and other close associates.

She further alleged that misplaced faith in the yellow jacket has led to preventable deaths among members, adding that many within the church struggle with mental health challenges.

“From my experience, if 100 Chosen members gather, 50 of them are battling mental health issues,” she claimed, urging current followers to “wake up” and free themselves from manipulation.
