Ezeagu Constituents Receive Christmas Gift as Hon. Chima Obieze Donates Free Buses

The member representing Ezeagu Constituency in the Enugu State House of Assembly, Hon. Chima Obieze, has donated free buses to facilitate convenient and safe travel for his constituents.

According to reports, the free bus service, which will operate from December 21 to 24, 2024, is expected to benefit hundreds of residents from Ezeagu Local Government Area who would otherwise struggle to afford transportation costs.

In a statement signed by the lawmaker and sighted by our newsmen, he stated the essence of this gesture.

According to him, “I am delighted to announce the Hon. Chima Obieze Free Christmas Bus for 2024, a tradition dedicated to ensuring the safety and comfort of my constituents during the Christmas season.”

The statement also indicated that the buses will cover various routes, including Akama Junction to Amandim-Olo, Akama Junction to Okpudo, and Obeleagu Junction to Obinofia Junction and Umumba Ndiuno. Two loading points have been designated: Penoks Fuel Station, Abakpa Express, and RAC Fuel Station, New Market.

He stated that “it is his yearly ritual right of a gift for safe and free travel for Christmas and New Year celebrations.”

It stressed that despite the harsh economic times marked by inflation and economic challenges, the lawmaker remains committed to serving his people.

It also said that this is Hon. Obieze’s yearly commitment to ensure safe, affordable, and convenient travels for his people during this festive period.

The lawmaker also wished his constituents very fruitful celebrations.
