Falz Responds to Bobrisky’s Allegations

Nigerian rapper and activist, Falz, has denied allegations made by Bobrisky that he and his father helped drop money laundering charges against him while in prison. Falz claims Bobrisky only contacted him for financial assistance to pay N3 million to stay in the VIP section of the Correctional Centre ¹.

According to Falz, Bobrisky was jailed for three months after pleading guilty to naira mutilation following his arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). He was released on August 5, 2024.

Falz, through his lawyers, Falana & Falana’s Chambers, also accused VeryDarkMan, who leaked Bobrisky’s alleged voice recording, of publishing a careless statement containing multiple allegations against him without contacting him.
