Famous Nollywood actor Big Larry is dead.

The Nigerian film industry has suffered another loss with the passing of veteran actor, Big Larry. His death was announced on Friday by renowned movie producer, Stanley Ontop, who shared a tribute on his Instagram page.

Ontop expressed his condolences, stating that the cause of Big Larry’s demise is still unknown, and offered a heartfelt farewell to the departed actor.

This latest loss adds to the growing list of Nollywood practitioners who have passed away since January 2024, including notable figures like Mr. Ibu, Amaechi Muonagor, Sisi Quadri, Ganiyu ‘Ogunjimi’ Oyeyemi, and Junior Pope.

In response to the alarming rate of untimely deaths in the industry, the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) organized a 4-day fasting and prayer session in May 2024, led by Streams of Joy International founder, Jerry Eze, seeking divine intervention to stem the tide of tragic losses.
