Female aspirant for Ondo APC warns party on zoning arrangement.

Funmi Waheed-Adekojo, a female governorship aspirant for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, has warned the party leadership about the unwritten zoning arrangements in the state ahead of the governorship primaries.

She believes that prioritizing competency is more important than adhering to zoning arrangements, as past adherence to these arrangements has deprived the state of competent leaders.

Waheed-Adekojo urges party members to thoroughly assess all aspirants and choose the best candidate, regardless of their zone.

She argues that all senatorial districts have completed the cycle of zoning, making it unnecessary to place emphasis on it.

“Our politicians should stop selfish tendencies and change the attitude of exploiting the people who voted for them.

“The majority do not care about the future of their kids, and they do not bother about having an enabling environment for the next generation.
