Gaming Industry Can Improve Our State Economy, Says Gov. Mbah
Enugu State Governor, Barr. Ndubuisi Mbah said that the Gaming industry can significantly improve the Enugu State economy.
Speaking at the Enugu State Gaming Conference 2024 in Enugu, titled: Exploring the Future of Gaming Innovations and Collaborations, Gov. Mbah, who was represented by his Deputy, Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai, said: “the conference provided a good opportunity for sharing knowledge and expertise, and fostering a community-driven approach to advancing the gaming industry in Enugu State.
“The landscape of gaming has changed significantly over the years especially with the introduction of trends such as augmented reality, virtual reality, and blockchain integration, making gaming platforms easier to access and improving gaming experiences.
“The gaming industry has also shown capacity to improve our economy and as a state, we will explore our local gaming ecosystem for the creation of economic value while promoting responsible gaming practices.
“I commend the Enugu State Gaming and Lotto Commission, the regulators, and all stakeholders for hosting the conference and I look forward to what lies ahead in the dynamic world of gaming.”
