Ganduje Calls for Unity Among APC Members to Reclaim Kano from NNPP
The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, has emphasized the importance of unity among party members in Kano State to regain power from the ruling New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).
Speaking at the 8th and 9th APC Kano State House of Assembly Forum dinner, Ganduje, represented by the state APC Chairman, Abdullahi Abbas, stressed that unity is the only way to achieve their goals.
He expressed confidence that God has already intervened in their situation, given the current administration’s mismanagement of the state.
Ganduje dismissed NNPP leader Rabiu Kwankwaso’s claims of popularity, stating that internal issues within the APC were the reason for Kwankwaso’s past successes. He urged party members to be ready for the task ahead and work together to reclaim Kano.
The Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, Yusuf Ata, also emphasized the need for unity, stating that the party would easily win elections if they put their differences aside.
The event honored several APC leaders and members who have benefited from federal appointments, with calls for a collective effort to reclaim the party’s dominance in Kano State.
The Chairman of the Forum, Abdul’azeez Gafasa, congratulated the honorees and assured that the forum would continue to work towards ensuring unity and uplifting its members.
