Governor Fubara Commits to Bold Leadership for Progress in Rivers State.

Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has expressed his willingness to implement bold and decisive measures to tackle challenges and promote growth within the state and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

This statement follows his ongoing conflict with former governor Nyesom Wike. Fubara made these remarks while visiting Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed to pay respects over the loss of his stepmother, Hauwa Duguri, who died at the beginning of the year.

Acknowledging the delay in his visit, Fubara emphasized the importance of their relationship and the shared goal of addressing significant issues.

During the visit, he highlighted the challenges of leadership and the necessity of taking strong positions when required, stating, “It’s not an easy task…but sometimes you must come out strongly and take a position.”
