Guinness Celebrates 100th Birthday of Mama Christiana, Nigeria’s Oldest Fan

Guinness Nigeria has honored one of its most devoted fans, Mama Christiana Atoke Egberongbe, as she marked her 100th birthday with a heartfelt celebration filled with family, gratitude, and, of course, her favorite drink Guinness.

Born in 1925 in Ajegunle Village, Ogun State, Mama Christiana, affectionately known as “Mama Christy,” spent decades as a respected food vendor in Lagos. Despite the passing years, one thing has remained constant her unwavering love for Guinness.

To mark the milestone occasion on July 24th, Guinness Nigeria delivered a special birthday package that included a custom cake, branded gifts, and a selection of drinks.

Two days later, on July 26th, a larger celebration was held with loved ones, filled with laughter, music, prayers, and cheers as Mama Christy raised a cold bottle of Guinness in celebration.

The moment quickly went viral after being shared online, drawing admiration from thousands of Nigerians who praised her longevity and lively spirit.
