Nollywood producer Kazim Adeoti has revealed the compelling reason behind his decision to marry popular actress Mercy Aigbe, pointing to her integrity and sincerity as key traits that won his heart.

In a candid interview with Oyinmomo TV, Adeoti reflected on their first professional encounter in 2011 during the production of his movie Hajia Jemila. He recounted how Mercy’s response after receiving her payment left him stunned.

“Most actors I worked with back then would grumble about low pay,” he explained. “But Mercy surprised me. Not only did she thank me, she told me I had actually overpaid her. That level of honesty is rare.”

He added that many people had discouraged him from working closely with women in the industry, but Mercy’s character completely changed his perspective.

“She didn’t just prove them wrong she redefined what I thought was possible,” Kazim said. “Her integrity and straightforwardness are what drew me in.”
