Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah of Enugu State has received wonderful commendations for his wonderful performances in his first year in office.

Hon. Charles Odoh, a renowned chieftain of the party in Igboeze South Local Government Area of Enugu State, in a statement which he signed and sent to newsmen in Enugu on Wednesday, in commemoration of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah’s one year in office.

He outlined numerous disruptive innovations which Enugu State has received within the past 365 days of Governor Mbah’s administration.

According to Hon. Odoh, Governor Mbah’s administration has achieved significant strides in various sectors, including infrastructure development, water provision, economic growth, education, healthcare, energy, and power, as well as agriculture and livestock.

He noted that the rehabilitation and reconstruction of 71 roads, delivery of potable water to Enugu metropolis and suburbs, and the unveiling of a $2.1 billion project plan focusing on transportation, healthcare, infrastructure, energy, power, and agro-industrialization, are some of the notable accomplishments of the administration.

Hon. Odoh also commended the administration for embarking on the construction of 260 smart schools and 260 type 2 hospitals, revolutionizing education and healthcare in the state.

He added that the domestication of the Electricity Act 2023, which established an Enugu State Electricity Market, has attracted investors and expanded power generation and distribution.

Furthermore, he noted that the state’s participation in the World Bank Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES) has enhanced livestock productivity and commercialization.
