I did not grant any interview to Crescent News against Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi*-(CEO)
Says……… He is grateful to Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for giving him an opportunity to serve in his administration.
The Permanent Board member 2 in Enugu State Post Primary School Management Board, PPSMB, Mr Ephraim Okenwa has dissociated himself from a publication making waves online, which alleged that, he is not comfortable with the administration of Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.
Reacting to the said statement, Mr Okenwa dissociated himself from it saying, he never granted any interview to anyone albeit, a non existing platform seeking for attention.
He stated that, the publisher of the news lacks basic ethics of journalism as he could not even state the name of the news writer.
He posited that, he is very happy With Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for giving him an opportunity to serve in his administration saying, such story didnot emanate from him.
The statement reads “
My attention has been drawn to a malicious report making the rounds on Social Media where it was alleged that I made certain unprintable statements against the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Rt. Honourable(Dr.) Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.
To set the record straight, *I did not grant any interview to a nonexistent platform seeking for attention.* I have not even heard of any platform called Crescent News before and I am sure is equally a strange platform to the good people of Enugu State.
How can an acclaimed News platform compile such a report without the name of the news writer?
I want to state emphatically that such a report can only be fabricated by unconscionable individuals who are bent on scoring cheap political points.
Ndi Enugu is advised to disregard such report, as never a time did I grant such an interview to any news platform, not even in my dream.
Let me also use this opportunity to thank the Executive Governor of Enugu State for the opportunity to serve in his administration. I urge His Excellency, to disregard the malicious report linked to me.
