“I didn’t fake my death”-Oladips
Popular rapper Oladipupo Oladimeji, also known as Oladips, has firmly denied the viral reports suggesting that he staged his own death as a publicity stunt for his new album, ‘Superhero Adugbo.’ On November 15, 2023, his management released a statement on his Instagram page, announcing his supposed demise on November 14, 2023.
However, contrary to these reports, several individuals, including rapper Qdot, took to social media to clarify that Oladips was indeed alive. Oladips himself released a video as evidence of his well-being. Unfortunately, this video led to speculations that he intentionally fabricated his death to promote his music project.
Addressing the rumors on his Instagram story, Oladips refuted the allegations and pointed fingers at Qdot for spreading such falsehoods. He expressed disappointment that Qdot hastily announced his survival on social media, particularly during a period when his family was uncertain about his situation. Oladips further emphasized that he and Qdot had not even had a single conversation throughout the year, making Qdot’s actions appear misleading.
Oladips has categorically denounced the claims that he orchestrated a death hoax and made it clear that his priority lies in truthfulness rather than seeking attention or publicity through such means.
