“I want a man who’ll give me N20m when I ask for N1m”– Yvonne Jegede

Popular Nigerian movie star Yvonne Jegede has expressed a preference for compassionate men who are willing to fulfill her financial needs generously and without hesitation. This revelation was made during a recent broadcast of ‘The Honest Bunch’ podcast.

She emphasized the importance of finding someone with a kind heart, citing that empathy plays a significant role in a relationship.


She said;


“If I ask for N1 million, a person with a good heart might offer N20 million without questioning my request, unlike someone lacking in empathy who would inquire if the money belongs to my father.”

The actress confirmed the end of her marriage to actor Olakunle ‘Abounce’ Fawole in 2019, shortly after their wedding.

During the podcast, she mentioned that one of the contributing factors to the breakdown of her marriage was that she was the primary financial provider in the relationship.
