“I will choose my death day, and no one will ever see my body” – Odumeje declares

Nigerian clergyman, Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, popularly known as Odumeje, has sparked fresh conversations online after declaring that he will personally choose the day of his death and that his remains will never be seen.

The Anambra-based preacher made the statement during a sermon to his congregation, a clip of which has since gone viral on social media.

According to Odumeje, he will not experience death in the usual way but will live forever until the moment he decides to leave the earth. He emphasized that his words are not a joke or “cruise,” but a spiritual reality about his destiny.

In his words:

“I never die. I live forever. And I repeat it, when I die, no one can see my corpse. That is not a cruise. It is a fact and the reality about the dead man in the battlefield.”

This echoes a previous statement by the preacher, where he claimed that when his time comes, he would “fly away” without anyone ever laying eyes on his body.

The declaration has drawn mixed reactions across social media. While some of his followers believe he has a deeper spiritual backing, others dismissed it as contradictory or attention-seeking.
