Igwe Elect of Ogugu Ntu-egbenese Hails Uche Okolo’s Win in Awgu LG Elections
The Igwe Elect of Ogugu Ntu-egbenese Ancient Kingdom in Awgu Local Government Area of Enugu State, Chief Aloysius Chidozie Ogbonna Jnr, has congratulated the chairman-elect of Awgu Local Government Area, Hon. Uche Okolo, on his victory during the just-concluded local government elections.
The monarch-elect made this known on Monday in a press statement he personally signed and sent to newsmen in Enugu. He stated that Hon. Okolo’s victory is a testament to his hard work and commitment to the development of Awgu, setting the stage for future growth in the area.
Chief Ogbonna praised the newly elected chairman for his dedication to grassroots issues and his focus on improving the lives of the Awgu Local Government dwellers. He expressed confidence that under Hon. Okolo’s leadership, Awgu will experience significant progress.
He also acknowledged the importance of fulfilling campaign promises, urging the new chairman to work diligently to enhance the well-being of all citizens in the local government area.
He, however, praised Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah for providing the needed leadership which inspired the electorates in Awgu to support the candidacy of Hon. Uche Okolo.
