Iyabo Ojo Survives Office Fire, Says She’ll Bounce Back ‘Bigger and Better’

Nollywood actress and entrepreneur Iyabo Ojo has expressed gratitude to God, emergency responders, and her staff after surviving a fire outbreak at her office in Lagos on the evening of Monday, July 8, 2025.

The incident, which reportedly occurred around 7 p.m., left parts of the building damaged. In a video shared via her social media platforms, the actress showed footage of the aftermath while narrating her experience and thanking everyone who helped manage the situation.

“This just happened today, the 8th of July 2025, around 7pm. My office building caught fire. Thank you to the Nigerian Fire Service and my staff for salvaging what was left. Thankfully, no lives were lost.

The devil tested us today but God said no. With God on my side, we will bounce back bigger and better,” she wrote.

Although the extent of the damage is yet to be disclosed, Iyabo’s calm demeanor and optimistic message have drawn an outpouring of support from fans and fellow celebrities alike.
