Judy Austin Warns Young Women: Don’t Rush Into Marriage Because You’re Pregnant
Popular Nollywood actress Judy Austin has issued a stern warning to young girls about rushing into marriage, particularly due to pregnancy.
In a recent viral Instagram Live session, the actress advised that marrying a man solely because one is expecting a child could lead to long-term regret.
Judy emphasized the importance of asking oneself the tough questions before making such a life-altering decision. “Don’t marry a man because you’re pregnant for him, you will regret it.
The first question you should ask yourself is, can I spend the rest of my life with this guy?” she said.
She urged young women to reflect on whether they can truly love, stay committed, and grow with their partners over the long haul. According to Judy, such decisions require both emotional maturity and mental readiness — qualities that many may not fully possess at a young age.
The actress also stressed the significance of dating and getting to know a partner before committing to marriage. “Date people, learn people, understand that you can’t trust anyone except yourself and God,” she added.
Judy, who has previously been embroiled in controversy surrounding alleged interference in Yul Edochie and May Edochie’s marriage, reminded viewers that marriage is a lifelong commitment.
She encouraged young women to take their time, know themselves, and make thoughtful decisions rather than rushing due to societal pressures or pregnancy.
