Judy Austin’s Ex-Husband Emmanuel Obasi Responds to Critics, Reveals Her Real Age.
Emmanuel Obasi, the ex-husband of Nollywood actress Judy Austin, has sparked fresh conversation online after addressing criticism about their former relationship in a new video.
Obasi tackled speculation over their age gap and claimed he was being unfairly judged as much older than the actress.
In the video posted on his social media, Obasi clarified that he was born on October 18, 1978, making him 47 years old in 2025.
He added that Judy is 10 years younger than him, effectively putting the Nollywood star’s age at 37.
“I don’t understand why people are so obsessed with my age,” Obasi said. “I was born in 1978. If you subtract 10 years from that, you will know Judy’s real age. Those saying she married her ancestor should go and do the math themselves.”
Obasi, who previously accused actor Yul Edochie of having an affair with Judy while she was still living under his roof, also spoke about supporting her financially during her early years, especially with her education. His remarks have reignited public interest in the drama surrounding the controversial love triangle.
In his caption, Obasi reaffirmed his identity:
“I still remain Mr. Obasi Emmanuel, former husband to Judy Austin—the man who married into a family where it’s ‘marry one, marry all.'”
