Justin Bieber Surprises Fans with New Album Swag, His First Since Becoming a Father
Global pop sensation Justin Bieber has taken fans by surprise with the unexpected release of his seventh studio album, Swag, marking his musical return since becoming a father in 2024.
Bieber dropped the 21-track project on Friday, just hours after mysterious billboards promoting the album appeared in Reykjavik, Iceland, and Los Angeles.
The surprise announcement generated a flurry of excitement across social media, with fans speculating before the singer confirmed the news on Instagram, revealing the tracklist that includes songs like “Dadz Love,” “Walking Away,” and “Forgiveness.”
According to Def Jam Recordings, Swag reflects a more mature and introspective side of Bieber, shaped by his recent experiences as a husband and father. The album is being praised for its emotional depth and personal storytelling, a shift from the upbeat themes of his 2021 release, Justice.
Since rising to fame in his teens, Justin Bieber has remained one of the most influential names in pop music. In 2023, he made headlines after selling the rights to his entire music catalog to Hipgnosis Songs Capital for a reported $200 million.
“Swag is a snapshot of where I am in life right now,” Bieber shared in a short statement. “It’s about love, growth, and the journey I’m on.”
