KANSIEC Seeks Traditional Leaders’ Support for Peaceful Kano LG Elections

The Kano State Independent Electoral Commission (KANSIEC) has begun visiting emirate councils to secure traditional leaders’ support for the upcoming local government elections.

KANSIEC Chairman, Prof. Sani Lawan Malumfashi, emphasized the crucial role traditional leaders play in promoting peace and stability during the elections.

The Emir of Rano pledged his full cooperation, promising to mobilize district and village heads to support KANSIEC.

The partnership aims to ensure a peaceful and successful election on October 26.
