Kebbi APC Dismisses Rumors of Gov Idris’ Defection.

The Kebbi State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abubakar Muhammad Kana, has denied reports that Governor Nasir Idris is planning to leave the party.

Kana emphasized that Kebbi State remains firmly under APC leadership and is making progress under Governor Idris’ stewardship.

He expressed satisfaction with the governor’s performance and President Bola Tinubu’s administration, stating that the party is committed to working towards their second term in office.

Governor Idris attributed the defection rumors to misinformation and deliberate falsehoods spread by individuals with hidden agendas.

He reaffirmed his faith in God and confidence in his administration’s trajectory, emphasizing that Kebbi is an APC state and will remain so.

The governor also expressed support for President Tinubu and confidence in his administration’s ability to deliver and dividends of democracy to the citizenry.
