Kemi Olunloyo Reignites Allegations That Iyabo Ojo Featured in Adult Films Before Nollywood Fame
Controversial Nigerian journalist and social media personality, Kemi Olunloyo, has once again stirred public discourse by alleging that Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo previously acted in adult films before rising to fame in the Nigerian movie industry.
The renewed accusations were made in a Facebook post dated August 3, 2025, where Olunloyo reiterated a 2024 claim about the actress’s alleged involvement in pornography while living in the Benin Republic.
According to Olunloyo, Iyabo Ojo has long misled her followers and fans by creating a narrative that omits her supposed early career in adult entertainment. She alleged that the actress has masked this history by crafting stories about being a victim of repeated sexual abuse.
“A year ago, nobody believed me. Iyabo Ojo has been fielding a false narrative for years that she was raped five times, something she did for followers and attention, plus to cover up the real story. Five different men knacked her in adult films,” Olunloyo wrote in the now-viral post.
She went further to accuse the actress of fleeing Nigeria to avoid public accountability, particularly in relation to the controversial death of singer Mohbad. Olunloyo claims that Ojo admitted to defaming singer Naira Marley and music promoter Sam Larry, only to refuse to offer a written apology and allegedly escape to Canada.
“After admitting to tarnishing NM and SL in the Mohbad case, refusing to do a written apology, and then fleeing to Canada, do you now believe she was forcefully violated five times?” she added, casting doubt on Ojo’s previous statements regarding her experiences of abuse.
The post has reignited a firestorm of online reactions, with netizens debating the legitimacy of Olunloyo’s claims and defending or criticizing Iyabo Ojo in equal measure.
Iyabo Ojo, known for her strong advocacy on social issues and vocal stance during Mohbad’s case, has not issued any public statement in response to these latest allegations as of the time of filing this report.
