Lady Claims Single Mothers Pretend to Love Men for Financial Benefits
A Nigerian lady has stirred debate online after making controversial claims about why some single mothers pretend to be in love with men they do not truly love.
In a viral video circulating on social media, she said she wanted to expose certain secrets about single mothers and how they act as if they are in love with men who were not responsible for their pregnancy.
She began the clip by questioning men directly, asking: “Single mother claim say em love you as how? Em dey brainwash you say em love you as how na? Em wan love you pass the man wey em born pikin give?”
According to her, the main reason some single mothers pretend to love men is because of financial gain. She claimed that once schools resume, a single mother may suddenly act affectionate toward a man just to secure money for her child or children’s school fees.
She further alleged that some single mothers go as far as staging love just to get financial support for raising their children. In her words, “for a man to run away from a lady who has given birth for him, it means the lady is a nonsense.”
The lady also advised men to be cautious of single mothers who constantly condemn the men who impregnated them, insisting such women are “very nonsense.”
The video has since generated mixed reactions online, with some supporting her claims while others criticized her for making harsh generalizations.
