Lady Shares Emotional Account of Public Embarrassment by Pastor at Deeper Life Church
A lady named Precious has taken to social media to share a distressing experience of public embarrassment by her pastor at Deeper Life Church. In a viral video recorded outside the church, Precious tearfully recounted how she was assigned to lead Sunday School for the teenagers’ class, a role she had carefully prepared for over the week.
On the Sunday in question, as she began teaching and organizing her students, the pastor suddenly appeared and questioned who was handling the lesson. When it was confirmed that Precious was leading, the pastor abruptly instructed all the students to leave and enter the main church.
Caught off guard and ashamed by the pastor’s public reprimand, Precious said she was too humiliated to return inside. She expressed her feelings of deep embarrassment, stating, “Like now, I’m outside, I can’t even bear the shame. It remains only for me to leave the church.”
She narrated, “Last Sunday, my Sunday School teacher told me I would take Sunday School today. I spent a whole week preparing for it. When we got to church this morning, I was about to lead, but the pastor asked, ‘Who is taking the Sunday School?’ They said it was Precious. Then he said, ‘What? Precious? Who asked her to take Sunday School? Everyone, come inside.’”
With tears in her eyes, Precious concluded, “It will take only the grace of God for somebody to enter heaven.”
This emotional testimony has resonated widely, highlighting issues of dignity and leadership style within church settings and sparking discussions about respect and compassion in religious communities.
