Lady Uses ₦50k from Snapchat Admirer to Buy Chicken Instead of Honoring Hookup
A Nigerian lady has caused a stir on social media after revealing how she spent ₦50,000 sent to her by a man who wanted to book her for a hookup.
In a viral TikTok video, the young woman, identified as @sheisxoxo0, narrated that the man approached her on Snapchat, asking for a hookup and sent ₦50,000 for transportation to meet him.
Rather than honoring the request, she went straight to the market with the money, where she bought chicken, turkey, and other cooking ingredients. She later recorded herself preparing a lavish pot of stew at home.
Meanwhile, the man repeatedly bombarded her with messages asking, “Where are you?”—messages she ignored, saying she would only respond after enjoying her meal.
Sharing her story, she stressed that not all women on Snapchat are there for hookups and advised men to stop making such assumptions.
Her actions have since sparked mixed reactions online. While some applauded her for using the money wisely, others criticized her for taking the man’s cash despite having no intention of meeting him.
The video has continued to trend on TikTok and other platforms, fueling debates about hookup culture, social media behavior, and gender dynamics in online interactions.
