Late Mohbad’s father requests that the Police investigate his son’s widow.

Joseph Aloba, the father of Mohbad, has requested that the Nigeria Police bring in Omowunmi, his late son’s wife, to provide information about the musician’s death.

Aloba made this request after Omowunmi claimed that she had information regarding Mohbad’s death and was willing to undergo a DNA test with their child, Liam Aloba.

A statement from Joseph Aloba indicated that Omowunmi’s testimony could help shed light on the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death.

He acknowledged the sensitivity of the situation and asked the authorities to ensure Omowunmi’s safety if she decides to come forward with her side of the story.

The statement read:

“It has come to our attention that Omomunmi Adebanjo, the wife of the late Mohbad, has expressed her knowledge of critical information related to his death.

We urge the relevant authorities to extend an invitation to Omowunmi Adebanjo to provide her testimony and insights into this tragic event.

We believe that her cooperation and testimony could be instrumental in shedding light on the circumstances leading to Mohbad’s demise.

We implore you (the police) to prioritise this investigation and take swift action to uncover the truth behind Mohbad’s death. The Aloba family and the public deserve closure, and justice must prevail.”
