“Life Is Better Here Than in Europe” – European Man’s Praise for Nigeria Goes Viral

A European man currently living in Nigeria has taken the internet by storm after a video surfaced of him passionately defending life in Nigeria, describing it as better than Europe and far more liberating.

In the trending clip, the man, whose identity remains unknown, challenged negative portrayals of Nigeria commonly pushed by Western media. He criticized European television networks for what he called fear-based misinformation, accusing them of unfairly painting Nigeria as a dangerous and unlivable place.

“All the Europe television saying Nigeria is dangerous don’t put your money there is a lie,” he said. “I can do what I want here. I am more free here than in Europe.”

He went on to encourage fellow Europeans to visit and invest in Nigeria, highlighting the warmth of the culture, the quality of life, and the joy he’s found living there. According to him, the food is better, the lifestyle is more vibrant, and the freedom he experiences in Nigeria surpasses anything he felt back home.

“The food and the life here is better than in Europe. Forget what European television says. All is lie everything is a lie,” he emphasized.

The video has since sparked a flurry of reactions across social media, with many Nigerians expressing pride at the glowing testimonial from a foreigner. Others noted how rare it is to hear such outspoken appreciation of Nigeria, especially from someone outside the country.

As the clip continues to circulate online, it’s adding a surprising yet welcome narrative shift one that counters the often one-sided stories about Africa in global media.
