Linc Edochie’s Wife Yinka Slams May Edochie and Supporters Over Online Attacks: “I’m Not Afraid of You or Your Queen”
The family drama surrounding the Edochies has taken a new twist as Yinka Theisen, the wife of Nollywood actor Linc Edochie, took to social media to fiercely respond to what she described as relentless bullying from fans of May Yul-Edochie, the estranged wife of actor Yul Edochie.
Yinka, who recently married Linc after the end of his first marriage, claims she has faced weeks of harassment and threats from supporters of May.
The backlash reportedly intensified after Yinka shared cryptic posts interpreted as subtle jabs at May. In response, she says critics began attacking her online, making threatening calls, and even contacting her employers to demand she be fired.
In a series of Instagram posts, Yinka expressed frustration and defiance:
“You claim I’m a bully, yet you’re the ones threatening my life and children, calling my job to get me fired. Just because May is suicidal, you think I should be punished? I’ve never threatened anyone or hurt a child. Nigerians, you should be ashamed.”
She continued, accusing May of inciting violence through her silence or actions, while her supporters paint Yinka as the aggressor. Yinka refused to back down, declaring:
“Go to your queen’s wall. This woman chooses violence, and when I react, you call me a bully? I choose peace until you wake me.”
The posts didn’t stop at self-defense. Yinka lashed out at those she believes are motivated by envy of the Edochie family’s fame and influence. She called the backlash “tribal hypocrisy,” stating that no other ethnic group attacks its celebrities as Igbos do:
“You’re jealous of the Edochies. Show me a Yoruba family that attacks their elites like this. You’re online all day throwing insults. Does this improve your life? This is hatred, pure and dangerous.”
Yinka also shared an inspirational quote, suggesting that the hate campaign against her is a tactic of control:
“When a toxic person can no longer control you, they try to control how others see you.”
Her emotional outpour has since gone viral, sparking heated debates online. While some sympathize with her stance and applaud her courage, others believe she is adding fuel to an already volatile situation.
In a final defiant post, Yinka dared her critics to do their worst:
“I am NOT afraid of you or your queen. If you want to kill me, go ahead! Nobody lives forever.”
The social media storm is the latest chapter in the Edochie family saga, which began when actor Yul Edochie married actress Judy Austin while still legally married to May a move that has since sparked national debate, fan divisions, and online battles.
