“Make sure you invest”– Paul Okoye advises colleagues

Popular Nigerian musician Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, recently shared some valuable advice for emerging artists who are currently making waves in the music industry.

Through his verified Instagram page, Paul Okoye took to the insta-stories section to deliver this message. He strongly emphasized the importance of investing wisely in order to avoid potential future financial struggles.

Paul Okoye’s words of caution come in the wake of a growing number of Nigerian actors who have resorted to seeking financial assistance online due to their health issues. One such example is Mr Ibu, who recently had his leg amputated and is currently undergoing medical treatment. Additionally, Amaechi Monagor, a 61-year-old actor, is battling kidney disease, diabetes, and stroke, and has also reached out to the public for help.

To prevent experiencing such distressing situations later in their careers, Paul Okoye advises the currently reigning artists such as Asake, Shallipopi, Zlatan Ibile, Blaqbonez, and others to prioritize investing their income wisely. By making smart financial choices now, these artists can secure their long-term financial stability in the music industry.

He wrote;

“Seriously a lot is going on in the industry including depression and all 000 But abeg if e reach your turn to shine ehh!!..abeg try to the invest… e no easy atall. AVOID STORY THAT TOUCHES Me sef don Taya to the hear stories E come be like na loose guard industry.”
