Makinde: PDP’s Victory in Ibadan By-Election Will Prove Our Political Dominance

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has declared that a win for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the upcoming Ibadan North Federal Constituency by-election will reaffirm the party’s dominance across the state.

Speaking at the Bodija Market in Ibadan during the official campaign flag-off, Makinde expressed confidence in the party’s candidate, Mr. Folajimi Oyekunle, whom he described as trustworthy, competent, and the right choice to represent the constituency in the House of Representatives.

The governor used the occasion to appreciate Oyo residents for their ongoing support since the start of his administration and urged voters in Ibadan North to come out en masse on August 16 to vote for the PDP.

Earlier, the Director-General of the Folajimi Oyekunle Campaign, Ademola Omotosho, also called on constituents to mobilize and turn out in large numbers to ensure victory for the PDP on election day.
