Married or Not, I’ll Still Collect Gifts from Men – Lady Declares Boldly

A young woman identified as Moyo has gone viral after openly stating that being in a relationship or even married—would not stop her from accepting gifts from other men.

In a trending video, Moyo was asked by an interviewer whether it was right for women to receive presents from men they had no intention of dating.

She confidently responded that her relationship status would never change her stance on the matter.

According to her, “Even if I’m married, it won’t stop me from collecting gifts from men.”

Moyo went on to share how a man once gifted her $1,600 to purchase a MacBook Pro M4, insisting that women are naturally showered with gifts simply because of their gender and beauty.

However, when the interviewer flipped the question, asking how she would feel if another woman was giving gifts to her partner, Moyo quickly objected.

“First of all, why is my partner supposed to be receiving gifts from other women? And secondly, why is a woman gifting my man?” she asked.

When reminded of the double standard, she defended her position by saying: “I’m a girl. Everybody wants to splash money on women. Especially when you’re pretty, everybody wants to spend on you. But why should a woman be spending her money on a man if my man is not sleeping with her?”

Her comments have sparked heated reactions online, with netizens divided over her views.

Growwithamaka wrote: “I don’t think there’s anything wrong with collecting gifts from anybody. Collecting from a male shouldn’t be an issue at all. This is valid.”

Ahm_dinho countered: “That’s why many of you marry the wrong men and then turn back to disturb God with prayers.”

Yab_jnr reacted: “Then why be in a relationship? Go and meet the married man! She belongs to the streets, guys. 😂”

SteveNsznxx added: “This is how pathetic society has become. Years later, she’ll be praying for God to stop her husband from cheating while fighting the same husband.”

NaijaBudgetBro commented: “Some people chase love, others chase presents… she’s doing both.”

The video has since stirred intense debate across social media platforms, with many questioning modern-day relationship values.
