MasterChef México Star Yanin Campos Dies in Car Crash at 38

Yanin Campos, a former contestant on MasterChef México and a popular content creator, has tragically passed away at the age of 38 following a car accident in Chihuahua, Mexico.

Her brother, Raúl Campos, confirmed the news in a heartfelt tribute shared on Facebook, where he also provided details about upcoming memorial plans.

According to reports by El Financiero, the crash occurred early Saturday morning, just after 6 a.m., when Campos reportedly collided with a parked vehicle while driving.

She was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital and remained under medical care for two days before succumbing to her injuries. Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident.

Campos rose to national fame after competing on MasterChef México in 2018, finishing in sixth place. Her strong personality and culinary talent led to an invitation to compete in a follow-up all-stars edition of the show the following year.

Outside television, she built a large following on social media platforms, with over 100,000 followers on TikTok and 75,000 on Instagram. Her content often centered on cooking, personal stories, and reflections on everyday life.

Her last TikTok video was shared earlier this month, just days before the accident. Fans, fellow contestants, and followers have taken to social media to mourn her passing and celebrate her life.
