May D Claims He Was Once Bigger Than Wizkid and Davido

Nigerian singer May D has made a startling claim that he was once on the same level as his colleagues Wizkid and Davido, and was even bigger than them at one point.

May D stated this in a recent episode of The Honest Bunch podcast, where he discussed his career and rise to fame.

According to May D, he, Wizkid, and Davido were the three biggest artistes in Nigeria years ago. He claimed that his song “Soundtrack” was even bigger than Wizkid’s “Holla at Your Boy”.

May D also recalled his time with Square Records, where he rose to fame in 2011, and his subsequent fallout with the label in 2012.

May D believes that his fallout with P-Square significantly affected his career, and has previously claimed that Wizkid wouldn’t have been on his level if he hadn’t fallen out with his former record label.
