Governor Peter Ndubisi Mbah of Enugu State has been commended for his infrastructural development in the state, which has made Enugu an investment destination and reference point across the nation.
The youth leaders under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Enugu State made this known on Wednesday in Enugu when they paid a courtesy call to the state chairman of the party, Dr. Martin Chukwunwike, at the state’s party secretariat, GRA Enugu.
Speaking on behalf of the youth leaders, the Assistant State Youth Leader (Acting State Youth Leader) who also doubles as the Zonal Youth Leader of the party in Enugu West Senatorial Zone, Hon. Ọzọ Ejike Ilo-Tasie, stated that Governor Peter Ndubisi Mbah has, through his visible and verifiable works in the state, made Enugu and the PDP a bride for all political leaders.
He stated that the youth leaders are happy with the Governor’s work, which has made mobilization easier for them at the grassroots level.
He called on the leaders of the party at the state, local government, and ward levels to help in propagating the Governor’s achievements to their people.
He further urged party stakeholders to remain committed to the party’s success, noting that Governor Mbah’s administration has set a standard that makes political engagement seamless. “When a leader delivers on his promises, the people naturally align with him. Governor Mbah has given us the confidence to approach the grassroots with facts, not just promises,” he said.
He also emphasized the importance of unity among party members in ensuring that the Governor’s vision is fully realized. “The task ahead requires collective effort. We must all take responsibility in ensuring that this administration’s impact is felt in every community.”
Hon. Ilo also called for prayers for their State Youth Leader, Hon. Benneth Ajah, who was unavoidably absent due to health issues, while also commending Dr. Chukwunwike for his sterling stewardship of the party.

In his remarks, the Zonal Youth Leader of the party in Enugu East Senatorial Zone, Hon. Sir Ani Christopher, said Governor Peter Ndubisi Mbah’s achievements have made Enugu a tourist destination.
He noted that infrastructure development, such as the ongoing transformation of urban centers and improvement in road networks, has not only attracted investors but also boosted tourism. “Enugu under Governor Mbah is now a city that constantly welcomes investors and tourists, thus becoming a city on the path of sustainable growth. Governor Mbah has put Enugu on that map.”
Hon. Christopher further stated that the Governor’s emphasis on urban renewal has redefined Enugu’s landscape. “From roads to markets and business hubs, the state is experiencing a rebirth. This is why we, as youth leaders, are proud ambassadors of this administration.”
Also speaking on behalf of the youth leaders of Enugu North Senatorial Zone, the Zonal Youth Leader, Hon. Nwachukwu Hyginus Chinedu, said Governor Mbah’s ongoing dualization of the Ugwogo-Opi-Nsukka road, the timely completion of the Nsukka Township Bus Terminal, among other projects, has repositioned the zone and made life easier for residents.
He highlighted that the infrastructural developments in the zone have not only eased transportation but have also contributed to the economic growth of the region. “The road dualization is a game-changer. When completed, our farmers and traders can easily move their goods faster, and businesses will begin to thrive due to improved access.”
Hon. Chinedu also stressed that the ongoing transformation in the state is a confirmation of Governor Mbah’s commitment to equity and balanced development. “Every zone is feeling the impact of this administration. This is what leadership should be about—ensuring that no part of the state is left behind,” he added.
Responding to the visit, Dr. Chukwunwike thanked the youth leaders for their support. He stated that his leadership of the party is focused on making the PDP a grassroots movement, which will translate into landslide electoral victories. He added that Governor Mbah’s achievements have made work easier for him and other party leaders.
He assured the youth leaders of the party’s commitment to working closely with them to sustain the progress being made. According to him, “Our strength as a party lies in our ability to connect with the people. With a performing Governor like Peter Mbah, our job has become even more rewarding.”
