“Men Are Doing Women a Favour by Marrying, Kneeling Is Unnecessary” – Geh Geh Sparks Heated Debate Online

Social media influencer and controversial commentator, Geh Geh, has set the internet abuzz after making bold claims about marriage proposals in Africa, arguing that men should not kneel when proposing.

Speaking on The Honest Bunch Podcast, Geh Geh asserted that the traditional act of kneeling during a proposal is unnecessary, since men are already doing women a favour by offering marriage.

“Naturally, in Africa, men are not supposed to kneel to propose to a woman because you’re doing the woman a favour. It’s like doing someone a favour and still begging them. It doesn’t make sense,” he stated.

Geh Geh went further, claiming that men don’t truly need marriage for themselves. According to him, the union benefits women more, and men primarily seek marriage for children rather than personal gain.

“If we’re being honest, men don’t need marriage for anything. The only thing a man really needs a woman for is children. Even without marriage, you can still have them. So if I know I don’t really need you and I’m inviting you into my life, why should I kneel?”

The statement immediately triggered mixed reactions online. Some praised Geh Geh for his boldness and perceived honesty, while others slammed him for disrespecting women and undermining romantic traditions.

A social media user commented: “Geh Geh always drops controversial truth bombs, I love it.” Another user reacted: “If you don’t need women, why do you always talk about them?”
