Men Expire After 30”: Nigerian Lady Claims Men Have the Real Biological Clock, Sparks Fierce Online Debate

A Nigerian lady has stirred a storm on social media after boldly claiming that men, not women, are the ones who face a “biological clock” and that they begin to lose their prime once they hit 30.

In a viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter) by user Teniola, the lady asserted that scientific studies suggest men’s biological clock ticks faster than women’s. According to her, a man’s best years are in his 20s when he is “fresh and fertile,” insisting that once he crosses 30, “his value starts to drop.”

“As a man, your prime is in your 20s. You’re fresh and fertile then. Once you cross into your 30s, your biological clock is ticking. You need to start thinking of settling down because nobody wants to marry an old, expired man,” she said.

Her comments quickly went viral, triggering thousands of reactions and heated arguments across social media.

Many male users dismissed her claim, saying biological pressure has always been more associated with women. One user wrote, “Biological clock for men? Na motivational talk be this one.” Another quipped, “Tell her say 40-year-old men still dey marry fine babes.”

However, some users backed the lady’s opinion, arguing that men also experience physical decline, reduced fertility, and diminishing attractiveness as they age.

The viral clip has reignited an age-old conversation about gender, aging, and societal expectations in relationships leaving Nigerians divided over who truly has the ticking biological clock.
