Mercy Chinwo hosts a free concert in Lagos to honor Easter.

Mercy Chinwo, a gospel singer, is set to hold her first live concert in Lagos during the Easter celebration.

The concert, titled ‘Overwhelming Joy’, will be free and open to the public and will take place on March 29th, 2024 at Eko Hotels and Suites.

Mercy revealed that her album was inspired by a verse in the Bible, Romans 8:37.

She said:

“Overwhelming Victory embodies the spiritual victory which we possess through Christ’s love. The album, through songs like ‘Father Eh’, and ‘My Lover’, showcases various aspects of this victory, faithfulness, might, joy and reassurance in our faith journey. It’s created to uplift, inspire and affirm the listeners’ faith, offering spiritual insight and encouragement.
