Miss ESUT Unveils Plans, Tasks Students On Healthy Living

The Miss Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) Beauty Queen, Edeh Uchenna Queen has unveiled her plans for the students in the university even as she advised them on the need for healthy lifestyle.

The Beauty Queen who disclosed this during an interview with ESUT Monitor said she has gotten sponsors for her programme which would hold soon in the university.

Queen Edeh explained that the Royalty is organising a show that would feature fashion designers, singers, artistes and actors and actresses within ESUT.

She further disclosed that although she had gotten sponsors, she called for more partners to collaborate with her with a view to making the programme a great show.

“We have plans for the students but the main one now is the Show we are organising which will hold very soon. Right now we are seeking for sponsors. Though we have gotten two already but we need more partners to help us achieve the set targets.

“The show would feature fashion designers, singers, artists, ESUT actors and actresses. We are inviting some notable actors and actresses. We have sponsors, the school management is one of them because we are under their watch.

“Though we are looking for external sponsors of our programmes, currently there are two housing estates that are ready to sponsor ESUT Royalty in achieving this vision – Enugu State Housing, and Applefrick Housing. Though am yet to meet with Applefrick Housing CEO for their partnership.

“I also want to advise the students on the need for them to live healthy lifestyle by watching what they eat, their dressing and keeping their surroundings clean at all times. To this end, I have the intention of distributing sanitary pads and shaving sticks to the students to help them in maintaining body hygiene,” she said.

She recognized the importance of the media in publicizing her activities adding that “We need the media to tell our stories and showcase our programmes and I want to thank the ESUT Monitor Newspaper in this regard.”
