“Music has not started paying me” – Whitemoney

Whitemoney, the victorious contestant of BBNaija Season 6, pleasantly surprised both fans and critics during a recent interview with BBC Igbo where he shared profound insights about his music career.

In the interview, the reality star, who also considers himself a singer, admitted that, at present, he hasn’t found music streaming to be a lucrative avenue for him. Despite this, Whitemoney remains dedicated to using his songs as a powerful medium to convey important messages.

WhiteMoney emphasized that he prioritizes delivering meaningful content over conforming to traditional standards, acknowledging that his vocal abilities might not be considered exceptional.

“People criticise me, even those paid to criticise me. What you need to know is that I do not sing to make you feel fine or please you because you do not feed me or fund my musical career,” Whitemoney added.
