“My money not fans took me far”-Whitemoney

Hazel Oyeze Onou, also known as Whitemoney, who emerged as the winner of Big Brother Naija’s ‘Shine Ya Eye’ season, expressed his confidence in the role his financial contributions played in his progress in the All Stars edition of the reality show, rather than the support of fans.

Whitemoney nonchalantly stated that he harbored no surprises upon his eviction, as he had a premonition that he wouldn’t clinch the victory.

During an interview session with YouTuber Olufemi Daniel, Whitemoney disclosed that the percentage of votes he received from fans was minimal, registering at only two percent.

“I wasn’t shocked [when I got evicted] because I knew I wouldn’t win. I was the one who gave money to my team to keep subscribing. My money took me that far. People’s voting was just two per cent, my money took me that far”.
